Behaviour Issue

I'm wondering if THIS is the sound Ruby makes. It seriously makes the whole house stop. Can't hear over it at ALL and it's enough to rupture my stinking ear drum when she's close by.

That's a normal bird noise to me but more a learned noise. My Ekkies don't make any similar noise to that but my CAGs always have. Has she been housed around any other species?

Ruby's is enough to make me jump. I posted another thread with her video. She's loud enough to be heard from our driveway!

Yeah Tequila can be heard from my parents house... and they aren't on the same street as us. That's how loud she is!!

I'm her third owner (had her for 5 years), and I think she must have been with other birds or something to pick this up.
 
Ah yes, the famous Ekkie "Air Horn!"

My Angel does this at least once or twice daily, not sure after all these years the meaning of the blast.
Rough translation? "Yo! I'm over HERE!"

YEP! With mine it either meant pick me up, or don't you dare set me back down!
