Behaviors? I need advice

My new green cheek has been biting me for petting my nanday I have had since I was 13, but anytime it's just me and him he's fine and he cuddles and he is okay. What is going on be aide I've only had the one bird all my life.

How long have you had your green cheek? It sounds like he’s jealous of your nanday and doesn’t want you paying attention to the nanday rather than him.

No suggestions except to play with each in a separate room so they don't see each other.

Note: this is one of the things that can happen when adding a new member of a flock. People don't realize its always a crap shoot as to how the parrots will react. Sometimes they become buddies and exclude you, sometimes they hate each other and still love you and all sorts of relationships in between that.
