- Enzo - adopted Female CAG circa 2004. A truly amazing young lady!
For what its worth, and its still too early to tell but...
I keep enzo in the kitchen as its the biggest room in the house and lots of windows so during the day she can look out to the woods/birds etc. The kitchen has many LED lights and not dimmers but i've recently placed a very low/warm light in the kitchen. I spend a few hours with her in the living room after having our evening meal together, the last 1hr before her bed time (now 10pm but will try drop that to 9pm) I lower the lights and encourage her to eat at her play stand. I then take her in to the kitchen with the lower light and allow her to have a fly to her favourite hang outs whilst I sit down talking to her. 10 mins later ill get her to step up or ill pick her up with both hands and take her to my chair. Let the cuddles/scratched commence! when my hands get tired at around 10pm she is so relaxed she is nearly sleeping in my arms and she will allow me to put her on her perch in the cage, often still wanting cuddles. The last 4 days she has done this and has even started saying 'night night' when she enters the cage.
Prior to doing this she was still WIRED at midnight and would not go in her cage what so ever, I must say the final hour with her is the nicest and closest time we have so we are both benefiting. I hope this helps.
