Bean found a home...Not mine...

Brian the owner of The Bird Hut just called to let me know Bean found a home...

He said she is in a good home and will be taken care of and loved, but I'm sad...

He said he just got a 20 year old Scarlet Macaw in that I might want to come have a look at..... If only I could afford her....and a cage...and have the room...

Thanks April, we still have a month to wait for Zilla's vet appointment (Feb. 12th) and then a day or two after to get the results.

I'm glad Bean got a good home, I was just hoping since she had been there so long that she would wait for me and Zilla!

I kept telling her to bite everyone, but I guess she didn't

Oh, I'm not giving up, just putting things on "hold" until I can make sure Zilla is all healthy and ready for a friend.

I might have to go visit that Scarlet mac though! Not sure how I would fanangle a big enough cage and enough room in my living room, but I've been told "where there's a will there's a way"

Why do I need a huge chair in the corner no one ever uses???

I am glad she found a good home, I just had my hopes up!

I know right? I got rid of the couch to make room for Zilla. Only kept my recliner and the one huge (almost loveseat sized chair) No one ever sits in the chair (unless you count Simon the cat) I keep a couple blankets over it all the time to help with the cat hair, so it would probably even be nice to have it out of here (less vacuuming)
