Two Cockatiels: Rascal (Geraldine) and his baby brother named Coconut!
I just finished making Rascal and 'Nut exercise and now they are both wiped out and grinding their beaks. I love the sound of it... it's so relaxing :D

... now 'Nut is finally letting me get some work done! LOL

That's a sound I long to hear again! It's been so many years, yet I can still hear it in my head. A content bird, grinding his beak and getting sleepy. :)

It took Bella 10 months to start grinding her beak.
It was just a week or 2 ago. I knew she really accepted us as her forever home when she started doing that.

I love the happy sleepy grinding. No better way to tell that a parrot is happy than hearing them grind away

So relaxing and nice hearing them relax by grinding their beaks. Baby will grind his beak after eating (after screaming to bed fed),after cuddling for awhile as contentment and safety and also when he's ready for bed.

Thinking of you and your 'tiels and hope you've reached safety!!
