Bathing question?

Hello guys,
I hope this thread finds you well!
I have a question about Zazu(gcc).
How do i get him to bathe,so he dosent get unclean,or is it not necessary for conures to bathe?
Everyday he has a bowl of room temperature water in the bottom of the cage but he dosent even go near it,idk how to get him to bathe without scaring him or losing trust...

How I offer my conure a bath is typically a bowl of water but he’ll enjoy a spray bath too!
Just use a misting spray bottle and spray above him so the water falls down on him like rain.

Right you are zERo! Other ways are to leave sopping wet leaves of lettuce on the floor of his cage = some parrot love bathing like that, rolling around on them. Some folks take them into the shower with them, the sound of the running shower stimulates them (but not too hot on the water temp). Other parrots get stimulated by the sound of a vacuum cleaner to want to bath.

But they DO need to take baths. My Salty's species is from a very arid, dry island off Venezuela, so he takes baths sporadically. But he does bath.

my conure prefers taking warm showers with me

My budgies are only drawn to moving water so they bathe at the kitchen sink under the sprayer
in a raised shallow saucer about 1 inch deep.

The sweeper, I dnt know what it is but something about sweepers. I have a Amazon an every time it's cafe cleaning time I use the sweeper to suck up the seeds from the bottom an while I'm changing papers he's giving me a bath as well, he's not my only bird that has done this an I have heard of many bird owners say the same thing.

Conures ae about 50% duck based on my research. Especially Sun conures.
