Hi, everyone

I am receiving 2 barraband parrots on the 24th of this month. I have been reasearching them on the web and it seems to me that these are not barrabands.
I am not familiar with this particular type of bird (which is why I have been finding out about them) and everything I find says that they should have an almost black beak and a white ring around the eye.
My avatar is the picture of the birds that I will be getting and they look nothing like what I have been reading about.
Can someone confirm what these birds are/may be for me, please?

I didn't know anything about that species until you mentioned them in another thread. I had to look them up as well. I'm curious what source says they have a black beak and white eyer-ring - almost every image I've found online of them, including wikipedia's has a yellowish beak and not a very bright eye ring.

Apparently there are two different species which both can be referred to as Barraband's parrots. The picture on your profile looks much more like the other one AKA Superb parrot (Polytelis swainsonii)

Thank you very much! I have found all of the information that I was looking for now. They are Superb parrots (in more ways than one).
