Band doesn't match Birth Certificate?

Hi!

Sorry if this is answered somewhere in the forums already, but I couldn't find anything. So, we just bought a Jenday Conure and I was curious about his leg band.

The 'Band' notation on his birth certificate doesn't match the actual numbers on his band. Is that normal?

You need to take that situation up with whomever sold you your bird.....

Okay, thanks. I'll give them a call today. But just so I have more information:

His actual band says he's from floriday, but his birth certificate says KMRA. I've seen this floating around but I can't seem to figure out what it actually means. Can anyone explain?

EDIT: Never mind. This is NOT his BC. Sorry for the wasted post
