Prayers for Sully.

That is partly why I want to talk with the vet in person, I want to ask her if knowing he has cardio myopathy would mean he is a lot worse than we thought, if there is anything we could do about it and if there is something we could do about it would it cure him or just post pone the inevitable.

Thank you for the link.

Awww, you and he will be in our prayers. Good luck keeping him calm, and we hope you are able to keep him happy for a long time to come.

Hey I am so sorry to hear about this. But keep a bright outlook . I have never owned a bird with a heart problem but my quaker suffers from fatty liver due to being on a seed diet for three years before I purchased him. I pray he has a long and happy life with you. I also applaud you for being such a responsible and loving owner.

Sully seems about the same today although he did take a bath which made a huge mess in the fish tank.lol. I just picked up his new meds which he will start tonight and will continue to get them for the rest of his life. I didn't get to talk to the vet today because she was in surgery all day but I will talk to her about the eco and to see how long he will have to be in the fish tank on Tuesday.

I will try to keep you guys updated on his progress, thank you all for caring so much Sully and I really appreciate it.

I forgot to add, when Sully goes to the vet on tuesday he gets his wings clipped. He needs to be clipped for a while because it isnt good for him to be flying with his heart condition. Maybe when his heart problem improves, he can be allowed to fly but that probably won't happen for a while.

I'm so sorry to hear about Sully! Good luck on Tuesday. I'll be thinking about you both!

Good luck! You are both in my thoughts.

I am so sorry to hear about sully.will be praying for him. Alison and sweetie pie:)

I haven't been on the forum for a few days and was sad to hear about Sully. My thoughts and prayers are with him. I too am glad he has you to take such good care of him. Keep us updated.

You are both in my thoughts and prayers...

Sorry it took so long to get back to you guys, I have been hanging out with Sully lately to be sure of his progress.
Well with the new heart meds he has been a lot more vocal and he seems to be dancing more. And he is knocking on the glass as if to say, um excuse me, can I come out now?
Like I said before, we are going to the vet on tuesday so I will get more info from her then, and maybe she will have some more test results back then too. What's weird is Sully clearly misses Bella, he calls for her when ever she makes a sound where he can't see her, but Bella shows no sign of missing Sully at all. She likes to help me change the paper towels in the fish tank but that's about it. She doesn't even call for him, and she goes to bed without him just fine.
