...does your "sweetheart" ever have "one of those days" (besides when it's THAT time of year)? For the last month or so Amy has been nicer since I don't know how long..a real gem. But today he didn't want to know me hardly :52:
Wasn't interested in any flapflapping..head skritches were met with turning the head and opening the beaky. Trying to message his rudder got me an amazon bark...maybe because brekky was late this morning?

Absolutely my birds occasionally have those days....woke up on the wrong perch, stubbed a toenail getting off the perch, breakfast late....who knows why?! I figure they’re entitled to their moods too....lord knows I have my cranky days :). I only worry if it continues on as my flock is generally pretty cheerful.

George the YCA used to have what I called his grouchy parrot days. If I even got close to his cage I'd get growled at; he wanted nothing to do with me other than providing his fresh food and water. It never lasted more than a day. Scooter the CAG has her grumpy intervals, usually only for a few hours. Ralph the QP is remarkably even tempered and is rarely grouchy.

It's more than a day when it comes to my Bingo.
HE will go like 5 days or so where he just does not want any interaction.
I try to pick him up and he just looks at my hand like "you got to be kidding" and moves away.
He's not aggressive he just want's to be left in peace.
