Baby tiel hatching way ahead of schedule!

Of course he is! He knows he needs to keep the photos coming to keep his fan club happy:)

He does have a really cute expression. When will he be weaned?

Do you have a buyer yet or are you keeping him?

He's been weaned for several weeks now. No one is looking at the moment which is fine by me as I'm not in no hurry. If I keep another bird I would be whacked.....lol

I'm sorry, Michael, but I am THRILLED there is no buyer yet..I am so not ready to let go of him yet:)

It looks like it's ready for its Vogue photoshoot. :) It's so much better at posing than my lovebird. Mine always jumps onto my camera...

He USED to fly to the camera, but he's starting to get the hang of it now. :)

Uh oh, is someone not happy? The little crest is down today.

Is he a he for sure?

When their crest is down it means they're content. It's a boy for sure! :)

Oh... sorry Mikey I don't know my Cockatiel "hair positions" He didn't look upset, just very slicked down.

I love day 65! He looks like he is ready for a cameo in "Grease" since his little crest looks slicked back:)

He does look like he's ready for a 50's dance.:D

I don't have a lot of experience with tiels and at first thought he was having a bad day. I don't think I've seen one with his crest slicked back like.... (we need a name for him). I do know Toos and I guess a tiel wouldn't be any different then a too.

How's his brother doing? Can you take a picture of him?

Here's his brother, his split is more evident as you can see the yellow in his crest. The parents throws pearls, pied pearl, heavy pied, whiteface split, whiteface pearl, cinnamon pearl pied whiteface.

Awww, so glad to see his brother, who must have been feeling quite left out:)
I agree, he needs a name:)

They've been breaking their tail feathers, they're too rough on tail feathers. Last night had a scare as one of their older siblings broke his toe nail somehow, not sure what he did but there's blood everywhere and I had to hold him down to stop the bleeding. Now I gotta scrub that cage again to get rid of all that blood. It about freaked me out when I saw blood all over.

Oh no, I am so glad he was okay! There is nothing like the sight of blood to get a person's blood pressure up:(
