Baby made it!!

After some confusion of where exactly to pick up our baby and frantically running around and me almost having an anxiety attack I finally have my baby. Thank the Lord. Now for the trip home- hopefully traffic won't be too bad.

She seems to be completely unphased by this whole thing lol just hanging out in the crate, chewing on things and preening... Doesn't seem scared of me at all!

Yeah I think she said our baby is cuddly, loved playing with other birds, and steps up.

I don't know gender- I'm hoping she's a girl lol but we'll have her DNA sexed so we know for sure.

We finally made it off the freeway so now we're on back roads about 15 minutes from home.... I can hardly wait to get her home and out of this crate!! I've been talking to her along the way and occasionally get these little honks lol!

Lol uhhhh no name yet...we've been brainstorming names on the way home though- hubby said he couldn't name her till we saw her in person

We're home!! He's currently sitting on top of my head preening my hair and himself LOL he's sooooo amazing and gorgeous!!!!! I opened the crate door and he came straight to me! He had some water but isn't interested in food right now.

Well, everyone's in bed... What a crazy day! Our baby is certainly easy going and seems to enjoy scritches from anyone and everyone! There were a few times I could tell he was nervous and wanted me so I picked him up and he just enjoyed being close to me and being loved and snuggled. And those puffy cheeks and crazy "hair" lol!! I can't get enough!!!
Tomorrow the kid will be at my dad's for the day and hubby will be working so I'll get to spend all day alone with my new baby
