Baby behavior again? Weird eating

Sun Conure
Hey all, I've got an almost 6 month old sun. When we brought him home he had regressed and we had to wean him again. It went very well and he was eating all of his own food (chop, pellets and a little seeds) every day without issue.
Recently, something had spooked him, unsure if it's related or not, but after he started doing the droopy wing head Bob and all baby noises nonstop. He's been doing it for a week now. He's in fine health as we just went to the vet again, but he seems to be overly picky with food now and won't touch the pellets when before he loved them. He just seems to only want specific foods like sweet potato, oats, and some parts of the chop. He's also started his molt if this effects anything. He's prettymuch just acting like he's hungry even though he's eating, albeit less if it's not a food he "wants"
Is this anything to be worried about? Anyone have any experience with this? Is he just being picky?
Thanks.

Sometimes weaning regression has nothing to do with hunger and more to do with comfort. But some conures have been known to take up to 6 months to fully abundance wean.

Go back to some daily hand feedings, while continuing to offer pellets and fresh food. Give it to him when he asks, and he’ll bounce back just fine.

Molt requires more protein, to grow new feathers. Try offering a few protein sources, I use boiled or scrambled eggs, boiled chicken, walnuts, and other nuts.

Thank you! I just gave him some formula, definitely loved that. Ill go back to daily until he refuses again.
This is my first time owning a parrot so all of the advice has been very helpful! Thank you all.

Also noted! He's been getting some egg whites here and there, I'll have to see if he enjoys other nuts! So far, he just sees them as toys and hasn't actually eaten them. I'll have to try walnuts.
