I separated them because Athena (bc) had become aggressive with Zeus (sun). Things were going better and Zeus was responding to me. Zeus was the rehome and very very timid. Not sure what happened because I bought Athena from a pet store and they had put Zeus in the same cage. I allowed Zeus to keep the old cage. Zeus started acting very funny. Cried and screamed. I let them visit at night and snuggle. If I try to separate them now they scream at the top of their lungs. I haven't seen any aggressive behavior from Athena but I worry. Athena is happy and healthy. But whatever happened to poor Zeus has affected long term. He comes to me only out of curiosity. I don't ever push him to do more. I just hope I made the right decision. Even as I type this they are cleaning each other. Any thoughts on if I made the right decision?
