Last night I dropped a brownie and I guess I didn't clean it up fully and Lincoln got a piece. It's a rather small piece though, what should I do? It was maybe the size of a raisin.

Edit: To clarify he didn't get the piece last night, he just got it now. So I haven't waited a full day to do anything.

He's now in his cage for time out because he wouldn't drop it when told. He's throwing a tantrum >>

Poked around google and I found small bits won't hurt them but the package the brownies came in doesn't say the % of cocoa so I'm really not sure.

I don't blame Lincoln. I wouldn't have dropped the brownie either if you told me to.

Yeaah I don't really blame him either because as far as I'm aware it's his first time having chocolate and it must have been a taste explosion for him. I still need him to learn to do things on command, not just when he wants to. Especially in cases like these.

Sounds like my Elvis when he doesn't want to go bed, or when I don't give him his banana pellets.

I don't eat chocolate in the same room my birds are in. I did once, I didn't let them out of the cage for a couple hours as I cleaned it up, it was chocolate milk.

The toxic effects of coco /chocolate is clearly an issue of volume and stores within the body over time. Thank-you, for your concern and attempting to get him to dropping that piece. There is no questions that it was likely a taste explosion for him. I hope he didn't spent to much time in his cage! As stated above, dawn few Humans could /would have dropped it!

Nah he didn't stay in too long. Well... I opened the door but then he didn't really come out. I guess his tantrum tired him out so he took a nap.
