As Requested...................

Looked at your email and that is quite a bounty for Rosie! I see some things I know Merlin would like as well.

Yes I went overboard. Kathie has some very unusual toys for birds now. I took my time and looked at what was there. Rosie has been playing all day with the two I gave her and the ones I put on top of her cage. I think she wore herself out cause she is almost asleep already.

I'm going to get her some of the same ones. She really doesn't care much for her wood hanging toys. She will like that one with the cards and the one that looked like it had stacks of paper or cardboard. She also wants something with metal bars that have little parts on them that can be moved back and forth. She has a small one now and she plays with that a lot. It was something that came with Pete that he had no interest in. I put it in there so she would have some toys until her old ones arrived from her previous home, and it's been a big hit with her. She likes things she can shred the most though. As for chewing wood, she would rather chew on pieces of toys in the bottom of her cage, or a 2x4. She used to really like pinecones but she seems bored with them now.

I don't think you can spoil an animal with toys like you can a human. They just see them as something that provides them mental and physical stimulation. They just don't have that human thing about whoever has the most stuff wins attitude. They don't show off their toys or brag about them, lol!

And look at how they enjoy stuff we see as garbage. They like things like plastic bottle caps, buttons, chunks of wood. My cat loves getting half a walnut shell to play with. Or tissue paper or a ribbon. She likes bottle caps, too. So I give her these things to play with for awhile (and hope no one comes over wondering why there is "garbage" on my kitchen floor:D).

I am so glad I got this group of toys because my rent went up significantlly and I need to spend less $$ on things like that. Those metal puzzles for birds are great but Rosie wanted no part of them. Birds really do pick their toys.

I still cant see it and when I clicked on the link i got

Oh well I guess you just have to imagine a photo taken of several new and unique toys. If I figure out how else to do this I will try again.

I've been able to see it the whole time, that's weird some can and some can't. Very nice toys!
