Are they all mouthy like this?

Danny loves to chew on me for a lack of better word. Like a puppy he will turn his head and just bite with out any pressure. It is a playing thing and does not hurt unless he gets the sick on my forearms. Never leaves a mark.

it depends on the age of the bird, I have noticed young birds to be very beaky and mouthy. as long as they know how much pressure is too much, it shouldnt develop into a biting behavior. he sounds like a sweetie

Bosley is 35 and yes he likes to do the same thing.He is mostly gentle, but I don't think he'll outgrow it. LOL

Both Hunter & Sam do it to my digits. They are also both excellent at keeping my eyebrows "trimmed" and looking neat. :54:

Merlin does this too, although he is also a pretty nasty biter - I don't feel the behaviours are related. Birds like to chew and mouth things but he only bites when over excited or stressed. The mouthing is cute, we just tell him to be gentle and usually give him a stick or something to mouth instead, just incase he'd rather chomp us soon instead!
