Are cockatiels for me?

I have been offered a pair of cockatiels. If they have babies, would they find good homes without being hand raised? I am quadriplegic and my attendant care is limited.

Cockatiels are great pets. A bonded pair might not be so affectionate to you as a single one might, but you never know. Frankly, since you're not an experienced breeder and you have limitations... I'd avoid breeding altogether. If necessary, pull and destroy eggs (or toss them outside for wild animal to enjoy?). There are ways to discourage egg-laying, which can be hard on females. Hopefully, someone can fill you in on that.
