I was reading the other thread about the conure head bobbing and took this video. We were told hes 2 years old so i didnt think it was baby behavior.

Thanks for looking!

Its pretty crazy, he can really get going, even weaving his head side to side...my daughter calls it the stevie wonder.

My GCC bobs his head in a regurgitation type movement, he seems to do it when he is happiest and I have read somewhere its something they do with each other in the wild to express happiness and comfort...

Luna does a rapid head bob when trying to regurgitate on me. She does the slow bob, like in your video, when she is happy. She usually alternates between head bobbing and beak surfing on me/objects.

Malibu just looks happy to me :)

Pretty bird! Clifford does this in 2 different times, one, when he's flirting with his toys :) and two, when a commercial he likes comes on the tv. When he likes whats on tv, this head bobbing is usually followed with some feet movement and cute birdie talk. Like he's dancing :) Malibu does look very happy to me too.

Totally normal, I grew up with 2 huge birds, have 2 conures now and this is them being excited. Some do it in different ways.

While I'm working I look over at her and she gives me this slow bob like "Yeaaaa man, I'm cool!!!" haha!

You have on your hands a happy bird.

My cinnamon does this all the time! Like he's literally the happiest bird I've ever met lol, always bobbing.
He learned that I make a big deal about how cute he is when he does it & now when he wants out of his cage he'll make eye contact with me & bob his head furiously in hopes I'll let him out lol.
I'm trying to teach him to do this on command :) I'll tell him 'are you a pretty bird? say yes!' & he'll bob his head and hop around & he gets a treat.
