Parrots
2 rose breasted cockatoos
Cockatiels
Indian ringneck
Elvis makes this "thhhpt" noise (not from rubbing his beak on a surface, but actually like he is pushing out air to make a noise) when he 'preens' me by brushing his beak along me like a bird would clean a feather.

I feel like he is like "oh you don't have feathers. No worries. I will make the sound a feather makes while being preened so you don't feel bad.... poor naked big bird" :ROFLMAO:

Elvis is hilarious too! If we leave the room and talk without him involved he goes "BEEEE Quiet!"

where did he learn that from? lol I've had pilot for about a month and I'm struggling with getting her to bond with me and every time I let her out of her cage she hides in my curtains, and refuses to come down and I fell through a table once trying to catch her. I'm debating clipping her wings bc I heard it can help with bonding but I'm not sure and need advice lol

He came to us knowing it. He also knows "wanna go outside", "what are yOUU doin", "good boy", "what" (in a very offended sounding way lol), "good morning", "good night", "let's go bye"

He is smart too. When it is night time he goes "good night... lets go bye". When we leave he goes "wanna go out outside"

He also loves to repeat random sounds like sneezing and coughing (he's been checked out. Just a little jerk that likes how it sounds I guess lol).

he sounds like he has such a big personality, and I love that. Pilot likes to chirp to music I play, specifically punk rock, and when she hears a bird outside the window she chirps,

He does! I have 2 rose breasted too's and they are so different. Archie is more timid and quiet. He does talk but he more whispers so you will hear a hushed "whatcha doins" from the other side of the room

Archie likes attention but only from me and my spouse (he is shy). Elvis could put on a full broadway show if you let him and enjoy every second of it

I bet its a pleasure having them, I wanted a conure or something but instead got a budgie, but I would love to see elivs's broadway show lmao

Here is Elvis dancing to a song my co-worker made with AI:

And Elvis saying BEEEE Quiet:

And him saying his favorite phrase:

My macaw does that every time I kiss him on his beak. He blows air out—sounds like a breathy whisper. I kiss my bird dozens of times a day. I just can’t stop! 😂

this is my girl
