I really have to start this as a new separate thread, because I am so lost with the information that I am looking at!
Can I give my Jojo any kind of pepper and not worry?
I love hot foods, I mean so hot, don't let it get on your chin because it will blister! JoJo will jump into this, and it really looks like he's not having a problem with it!

Pretty much anything you find in the store will do for a parrot. Bell, banana, jalapenos all are great!

Dice em up small and odds so then Jojo has an easier time eating them. I highly recommend cutting them with gloves on our a processor to prevent any burning bits and pieces.

Buddy eats jalapeño, habanero (bonnet peppers) and Serranos. Husband loves peppers so Buddy gets his. No kissing the beak after though, lol!

I get the Rbird Serranos... they're easy for him to hold in his little hand. And small enough that he doesn't satiate on just one or two. That way, I can use them to trick him back into the cage as needed.

I keep nitrile gloves in the kitchen just for cutting peppers. It seems the more peppers you chop and touch, regardless of how much you wash your hands you can't completely remove the juice if you didn't wear gloves. Painful!
