I'm having a problem getting my Photobucket app to open up on my iPhone.
What happens is, I'll tap on the app to open it, then it 'blips' for a split second and immediately 'goes away' (it never even opens up).

This is the same app I've been using regularly to post pics here. I've done nothing new to my phone. Anyone have an idea? The only other time I've had this sort of thing happen is with the Yahoo weather app, but after an upgrade it started working again. This Photobucket app is fairly new, I admit I only started learning to use it a few months ago.

Thanks Karen. I just discovered that it's happening to more apps than just that one, so I'm taking my phone to the Apple store!

My phone does that with random apps (Facebook, photobucket, FML) and usually what I'll do is check if it has an update, or turn my phone off and back on. (I NEVER turn my phone off, mostly because I never let it die, so I feel like it needs a nap sometimes ;) )

Then, of course like Karen mentioned, delete it and re-download it. That seems to fix most things. :)

I have an appointment at the Apple store tomorrow. The guy who made the appt. said it sounds like a software issue within the phone. I can usually just get help right then and there, but even though it wasn't super busy, they made customers stand in line today to make an appointment :49:

I had some really strange stuff going on with my phone and I ended up doing a "restore factory settings" and then installed everything again as new. It was time consuming but the phone worked just like new again. (well, new for an old iPhone 4 with 8 GB....)

Oh no! If I factory-reset it every so often, how will I show off my fids to people who don't care by saying "Look at the cute thing (insert name here) did!" and showing them my phone before they have a chance to say no??;)
I have too many pictures on my phone.. I'm about to have to back them up on my computer(again) LOL :p

Somewhat non-related, but my boyfriend's sister made an appointment with the apple store because the phone speaker(used for phone calls) was muffled and not working very well. So she went to her appointment only for the guy to pull off the protective film that comes on the phone... LOL :D:D

Well mine was beyond any normal fixes at the point I finally just wiped it clean and started over. :) and I run one drive app for backup all the time for my pics/video. (Weird that I have an iPhone because it is like I am married to Microsoft).

You can use an app like photobucket and have all your pics automatically upload to their website. I have mine all automatically uploading to the Google cloud (obviously I use android)

You can backup all the stuffs into iCloud, I recently did it for my boss' iPhone but there was many things missing in the new phone even after backup. I just got my new Galaxy S5 and nothing was missing using Cloud with verizon. But I also backup in google cloud and samsung cloud as well....I don't trust just one....lol

It is best to restart your phone at least once per day!

I went to Apple today, and backed up to iCloud. They said that the software looked fine, and all they had me do was delete and reinstall like some of you said.
