Another update on Al..

..Hi folks..just got off the phone with Geri..

She said he is "maintaining" His temperature is still not under control. Fluctuates from 98 to 101 degrees. She says his temp is usually 96.5 so that is still high for him.

His spirits are "ok" and the doctor said the surgery went fine,saying it was a "mild" attack..I don't think there IS such a thing as mild when it comes to our tickers!!


Salty is doing pretty well! He does all of his tricks/routine with her and is even now doing the twirl thing around the stick Al uses and will even do the "roll over" trick,which Geri said he would never do for her before!


Geri is kind of down in the dumps however,not being able to get around to be with Al,not being able to drive,and with all the walking she has been doing is taking it's toll on her legs and back:31:

She did say she really hadn't realized how much Al and family means to us,and she is VERY grateful to everyone here,with our concerns and thoughts and prayers and love She made it clear to me to say THANK YOU so much!!

For those who would like to send Al a get well card,she gave me permission to give out their address..it is...
