Fargo is such an amazing bird :). All the love and stimulation you give him is awesome!!!

Yes lots and lots of love, and i get so much in return!

We dont really see training as training, its just more of a fun play time where he gets to do weird things! ;)

He wanted to stick his tongue out when he was on the floor, and i was like noooo its rolling time!! :09:
Thank you! :)

Tab! You and Fargo are so perfect for each other! And your videos are an awesome combination of inspiring, entertaining, and adorable...Fargo is so clever, and it never fails to put a smile on my face! Keep sharing :)

I hope when I get my baby, I'll have a bond as awesome with her/him as you and Fargo's...its truly so special to see! :D

Its funny to think the breeder told me, that fargo and i probably werent the best match huh? :22:

Thank you! Glad you like them :)

Of course you will!
Fargo and i did not have that 'let the bird choose you' moment that everyone insists is important..
So it just proves that even if the bird doesnt choose you, you can still have an incredible bond!

I think the key to our relationship, is i dont treat Fargo like a bird, just more of a baby/child, thats why he does his weird poses and likes cuddling in blankets :09:

Good luck when you get your baby!!

Oh that is so cute, I love the photos, and I swear you need to add a "plunk" sound to that video when he flips! Heehee!! No one could ever get tired of your posts on here, you know we are all huge Fargo fans!

Hahaha Thank you! :D
Its not really a graceful flip like a gymnast, is it? More of this big lazy flop over ;) haha

Yesterday i said 'flip' and he automatically put his head between his legs without my help!!!! Didnt do it again today though, will be a slow progress ;)

You and Fargo have a special relationship that goes far beyond what many people can hope for. It's obvious Fargo completely trusts you. All of us in the community love seeing your threads about Fargo and I personally gain inspiration from them. Not just with my parrots, but other pets as well. Keep them coming! :)

Wow thank you very much!
The first week home i thought that Fargo and I would never actually have that really strong bond, i was so upset :31: haha
Maybe i need to do inspirational talks with Fargo at parrot conventions! lol!

So we didnt do training for 3 days, Fargo wasnt too happy with the big training sessions we were having, so we had a break, and today we tried again!

He did it by himself!!!!!!!!!!

Then i got the camera out and he got grumpy -_- but he sort of did it, just needed my hand quickly under him, but then he did it himself!

I think he might actually have it figured out on command in a few days! :)

Hopefully i can get a picture of him doing it by himself for the competition which ends tomorrow! No other bird will be doing somersaults! hehe :D

Oh MissTaz of course Rory could learn!! Start of with shaking hands or turning around, and then you start doing harder tricks!
The little birds seem to be alot better at all the movements on the floor, because they are more bendy and can flip and roll easier, where as Fargo is like this huge giant that just flops over ;)

Thanks Marcia! :D
