I'm pretty sure he thinks he is! Starlings are not known cuddlers. Yet he climbs under blankets with us, just like Foo. To his credit he has much better speach than the parrots. :09:

I love Zeki !! That's just amazing! He is the cutest, funniest little thing too. Interesting how he's picked up behaviors of other species!

He likes to embellish what he learns from us. We would call him baby bird and pretty bird...which turned into Zeki is SUCH a pretty biiiiiiird and his musical edition of baby baby baby bird. haha Weirdly he adds SUCH to a lot of things. Not sure why..but I am always impressed with it's proper usage.

His favorite bird to mimic is hummingbirds fighting. We have a feeder in the window and he just loves their fights.

That recording is the CUTEST thing. I love how he talks in different voices and does whispers too. I had to listen to it twice and was laughing all the way. Thank you for sharing .
