Greetings from the Isle of Skye.
Due to collect my new hand reared baby Double Yellow-Headed Amazon from the breeder in about ten days time.
Everything ready, new cage, travel cage, toys and spent a lot of time studying how to care for my new arrival, should be fun!
Having kept everything from Llamas to snakes and many, many horses, dogs and assorted poultry in my time but I have never been owned by a parrot!
I live way up on the moors on the beautiful Isle of Skye which is off the North-West coast of Scotland.
Other than painting Waterclours, I keep a varied collection of poultry, a cockertiel and a St Bernard dog (both rescued many years ago).
I make all my own bread, cook and bake most things including my selection of "Artisan Cheeses" which I sell to the visiting tourists in summer.
