That is an amazing vet. I don't think too many people would pay 2 idiots for a dying bird.

The vet told them he would pay as long as they gave me clhoe so yes he did pay.

WOW. what a story. just amazing example of some of the best we can do for animals. And of what ignorance can do to harm them.

Yes my vet is awesome. He has helped me out a lot. Chloe is beautiful bird and a total sweet heart to me. I'm working on trying to get her to step up on me but so far she tolerates only petting and scratches under the wings. I don't mind though. I already love her so much!

Chloe was from the same couple, who gave the cockatoo chocolate? They did not give it to the Macaw?

I've been wondering that as well. Maybe the macaw didn't like it?

Not sure if they fed Chloe chocolate or not, but she is in WAY better shape than the cockatoo! She is doing great doesnt like anyone else but me still, but it really doesnt bother me lol. She loves music and loves to dance!

I'm glad she is doing well. Macaws are definitely dancers.
