Another Family Member Catches the "Bird Flu"!

My grandson Mason (age 6) has been the proud owner of two Zebra Finches for several months.

He recently became the proud Parront of Lenny, a blue and white Cockatiel.

Here is a photo of Mason & Lenny. (Mason is the featherless bird.)

Must be in the genes. Cockatiels make really good birds for children and adults. Cute picture:)

I have had several hobbies, this is the first one that my grandkids seem to be excited about. I hope it sticks!
 
That's wonderful!!!! Cockatiels are wonderful birds to have around and good with kids better then most. :)

It was that or teaching them to play the bagpipes :eek: (which can be just as loud as the parrots, but not as entertaining), or teaching the 6 year old how to make wine :09: (which children & family services might complain about) !
