Another addition!

For about 2 weeks or so i have reallyyyy wanted another puppy, only a maremma.. I had a maremma who died last year, and he was the most incredible dog, and finally made the decision to get another!

Mum was like nooo, but then said yes, and then couldn't find any babies for sale.. Then a few days ago i found some, talked to the lady about them..

Then mum said she really didnt want another dog -_- but said she called the lady yesterday, but she didnt pick up, so said all the babies are probably sold..


ANYWAY... I had to go to work with mum today, on the way up i was like can we try call the puppy people again pleaseeeeee?

Mum was like i will later..

So was at work at 8am...

I was in my office working on a pamphlet, when mums workmate said
'Tab can you come help me please'

I went out.. and there was this man holding a little puppy

I couldn't believe it, i was in shock...

You ready for this..


I STARTED CRYING....


Alot... I just saw him, put my hand to my mouth and started sobbing and crying hahaha

Got the little puppy and gave him a big hug even though he was very dirty...

He sat in the office with me all day, i love maremmas because they are SO shy, timid and aloof, they are just not like a normal hypo dog..

Anyway, the lady called this afternoon to see how he was doing..

and she said that her husband called her and told her what happened when i saw the puppy..

and her husband said it was one of the most loveliest moments he has ever seen, he has never seen someone love a puppy and cry with happiness like i did..

hahaha ah man.. i need to stop being emotional when it comes to animals.. Anything else i have a heart of stone, but with animals i am a big mess hehe


ANYWAYS.. pictures!




Maremmas are protectors, they guard sheep, cows, goats, and chickennnssss... So i am hoping Fargo and him will be friends, with strict supervision haha

Oh!!! and his name is Cypher...

Have a horse named Kitai and a puppy name Cypher (They are the 2 main characters in the movie After Earth)

Ohhhh what is even cooler.. Is that he is born on the 8th of September.. Which is ?!?!?!?!?!? Can anyone guess....

Oh my goodness Tab, Cypher is GORGEOUS! He is absolutely adorable! He looks so cuddly!

Hahaha He is only 8 weeks old, but all that fluff and hair makes him look massive!!!

He is asleep next to me now, wont be allowed to be inside when he is older though.. Dad is already grumpy that he is in my room haha

His collar is the same colour blue as Fargo

Oh and he is the biggest sook..

He slept most of the day, either in my lap, or with his head on my shoulder haha

YAY!!!!! Welcome home, Cypher!!!

He is GORGEOUS, Tab!! I would have given anything and everything to have seen your face when they peeled you out of the office and you laid eyed on him.

He doesn't look dirty at all. Did you give him a bath?

LOVE how cautiously optimistic Fargo is with him.

Oh Wendy, you dont even want to know what he looked like when we got him...

Fleas......... hundreds of them

It was disgusting.. All eggs and stuff all on his skin... Even has a few tiny sores of blood where they were sucking..

He is perfect, but its amazing that people sell their puppies like that..

They live outside, but still :S



Hence, it was about 30 minutes of bathing, then picking lots and lots of dead fleas off him..

Poor little guy

and he was very dusty and dirty and smelling of manure.. But then after his bath he smelt lovely and was fluffy and white



Haha mum said she wished she got it on camera... I was just standing there with my hand over my mouth for over a minute, just sobbing ahhh im silly hahaha

Make sure ALL your clothes went straight into the laundry, fleas are pesky little blood suckers, don't want you ending up with any in your house.

I'll be right over to cuddle with Cypher!!! Oh I so wish I could!!!

By the time he is older dad will be used to having a dog in the house, PLUS Fargo will have a relationship with him, and he can the stay with you in your room.

Yes its insane.. You would think they would of given him a bath before hand, just to get a few of the fleas off at least

Hahahaha Fargo is being his curious self about him, and Cypher is scared, so Fargo waddles over and just watches him :')

Need to make a doggy door that Fargo cant get out of haha

Ohhhh they look very similar!! I think maremmas aren't quite as solid and bulky? Definitely look alot larger !

But they are both protectors!

Cypher is the cutest little puppy. I can picture all three of you spending most of the day together like the three amigos. Ha ha. I am glad you found a puppy. My dog Pepe hangs out along with me and Captain Jack.

I hate to hear of dogs living outdoors, but then I've only seen it in 'neglect' cases and in deary rainy UK. I bet it's much nicer out there with you Would love to see lots of updates on this cutie!

Oh he will most likely sleep on the verandah outside my room when hes older, then run around in the day time, but maremmas like to run all over the place, like do a security check haha

and a possum, who is now outside in a big cage who will be released in 2 months!

Not really that many haha
