Andy died.

Yesterday when I got home Andy died. She was getting really sick and my dad wouldn't let me take her to the vet. I'm really angry and sad and worried and confused. I know if my dad took Andy to the Avian Vet she would still be alive. I'm worried that in the two months two of my parakeets died. The boys are really timid right now. I'm so scared and I'm on the verge of tears right now. I am lost without Andy. She was my first parrot.

I just disinfected the whole cage with viniger water, to remove poop stains and I used disinfecting wipes so the boys won't get sick. Pray for me that they won't.

I’m very sorry to hear you lost your first parrot. It is heartbreaking to lose our feathered friends. They are a huge part of our lives. I spend more time with my parrots than I do most family & friends.
