:60: WHOOO HOOO! I'm marking this day on the calender .....Doodle FINALLY has overcome her hand hatred !! She cautiously stepped up on my hand and got her carrot! It's taken me almost 4 months to get this far, apparently her last owner didn't try or have time to teach her this step and just grabbed her. Took ALOT of Doodle beaking my fingers and some NASTY pinches, but telling her no bite and me , with her carrot, walking away, she realized biting got NO carrot!

Thanks to all the links and advice from everyone was the only reason we've come this far! Now Doodle and I can begin to build our relationship now this hurdle is conquered.

My next task is getting her to play with her toys. That'll be the fun hurdle though! She's not afraid of the toys I've gotten ....she just don't know what to do with them.

For now>> DOODLE WINS THE BATTLE!!

I'm SOO excited for this accomplishment for both me & Doodle! Doodle KNOWS shes done somthing good cause she gets so excited when she sees me. She gets right to the end of her perch and wiggle her tail feathers and head bobs!!

I'm gonna bake up her favorite "Doodle Bread"
