Jim, I would ask the good Doctor about the components that are either marked and High or Low, and if any change in his diet would help those. The pathology report on the cyst seems pretty OK, as it says just keep an eye on that area for awhile, which I know you will do.

Hi Jim, in humans the high Alb (protein measurement) could easily be attributed to the current infection and slight dehydration. For good measure, ensure Amy is drinking heaps of water and recheck the balance of protein in her diet. Is she getting too much? The high potassium could also be incidental due to the infection or too much potassium rich foods. Have Amy and Salty been pigging out on salmon lately?:)

Jim, I'd ask the vet to explain the high/low values to your satisfaction. It takes a trained eye to evaluate Amy's overall health.
