Jonesy a Goffins 'Too who had to be rehomed :-(
And a Normal Grey Cockatiel named BB who came home with me on 5/20/2016.
...again...as a lot of you folk know, the problem I have with Amy being obsessed with little BB Well the other night I decided to do a little experiment. I got the big X perch their Uncle David made for them and put them on it TOGETHER and and stayed there, inches away and watched. I have mentioned before that Amy shows zero aggression towards the little boy,he is just infatuated with him..I don't know why it bothers me so much So BB was on one side of the X and Amy on the other. Immediately Amy starts talking to him! HI..HELLO! How are you?? and Amazon mumbles, all the while bobbing his head and trying to regurg for BB. BB sat there, gave Amy wolf whistles and started making kiss-kiss noises lol. Amy was being very good and playful..playing with the toys hanging from the perch as BB nibble the other end. I offered Amy a piece of String cheese and as he held it in his foot he allowd Beebs to nibble the other end After about twenty minutes of them hanging out together, BB decided he wanted to be on me a flew to me. All during this time I was sitting right next to them watching intently, and Amy showed no aggression..I guess he just loves the little guy.
Amy did however, show aggression to ME ( I couldn't even try to skritch Amy without him rearing his head up and wanting to take a piece of flesh out of me!) I'm going to try this again tonight and get a vid of all this.
