Parrots
cinnamon green cheek conure named bishop 2 r 3 years old
Bishop is still scared of me and run when i get close to the cage if i get close he crunches down but when i leave he calls to. i can get him to take treats for my hand. the only time he gets on my finger is when he fly's off the and i pick him up to put him back i talk to him every day play music for him he dances and he bobs his head when i do. it be two weeks Saturday that i had him and it seems like its not working.

today i saw that he is molting so could that be what is wrong with him? he has a ton of pin feathers all over his head.

2wks is not a lot of time!

how old is bishop, was he hand reared etc
how are you approaching cage??

as for the molting, it makes them grumpy, or itchy an mildly irritable

remember take things slow, and calmly, also try research your birds body language :)

ok so he ws on the bed with me i just layed there like i did not see him at first and he came to my hand and stop on it for about a min the he got back on the bed and played with the sheet. i put come of his food in my hand and he came up and step on it and eat some out of it he climb on my leg he was cool as long as i stayed still. but he tried to fly back to his cage but he still clipped and land on the floor when i want down to pick him up to help he ran :( and i do not think the past owns missed with him for he do not know step-up at all i tryiing to teach it but he keeps running i got him back in his cage.

Be patient. Remember our parrots are not domesticated like dogs and cats are. They are essentially still wild animals.

You've made some strides. You know he likes to play on the bed. And you know he likes music. I would dance and sing for him. And keep feeding him from your hand as well. He is learning your hand is safe if he is eating from it.

am going to be patient. i have to remember that do not know how he was treated at his old house. i think they might have grab him alot.(i was trying to get more back info on him but the past owner stoped writing me back)

ok i try singing and dancing to see what he do.

Considering we don't know what his previous life was like (sound like it wasn't awesome) it sounds like you are doing something right! It'll take time for him to get used to you, but it sounds like you are doing it right. Just be patient and give it more time. :)
