Almonds and cyanide?

To be honest Ive always tried to avoid nuts in general with birds. Except for the occasionnal peanuts. But this almond ordeal is pretty scary! I know some bird stores in my area that make their own toys with whole dried "bitter almonds" wrapped around for birds to play with.

Horrifying to know "bitter almonds" are used for bird toys!
