Rex and Jet are bonded so as much as it pains me to rehome them I can not in good concience split them up. I know Jet would miss Rex more than me if I split them.

The filter is no longer working and my breathing is getting bad again. I honestly believe there is no longer any alternative. I did not make this decision lightly. It is a painful but necessary choice.

On the plus side the new owners are great. The wife is a former vet tech and Rex will be getting a lopron shot immediately upon the laying of another egg. They are being picked up tomorrow at 5 30.

I'm so sorry this did not work out better for you. Knowing Rex and Jet will be together should provide some comfort. Will you have visitation rights, at least at the beginning? Or might a clean break be easier to manage?

I am so sorry. What a difficult, heartbreaking decision you had to make.

You found a wonderful home for them and they have each other. They were blessed to have you.

(((hugs)))

Aw man, I'm sorry to hear this. But I know you're doing what's best for everyone. At least they are going to a wonderful home!

Probably for the best, but updates will be reassuring. Sounds as if Rex and Jet are in good hands.

Awww gee Grace..I feel for you really :( At least they will be together.
I can't even imagine giving up Amy and Beebs.

I'm sorry Grace. I know it's very difficult. It helps to know that's they're in good hands. I hope you feel better soon from your allergies.

You took the responsible and caring high road. Well done.
Patagonian hugs to you!
