I’ve had this conure for almost a year now. She or he (I don’t know its gender, but let’s assume it’s a she, since that’s what I’ve been thinking that it is) and I are very bonded, she loves me. But she has been becoming very aggressive lately. Sometimes whenever I enter the room she starts to bite me and gets very protective over the other conure I got (this one isn’t bonded to anybody, and bites me whenever I try to hand him). She calls me whenever she hears that I am home (she talks a little and literally says come here). When she sees me, instead of being happy she tries to bite, her feathers kinda spreads out to make herself bigger or something. Ever since I got this new bird she started to act more like I am outsider or something. I’d really like to bond with the other bird but he doesn’t want me to bond (he bites me every single time). I don’t know what to do to make her stop biting me and try to be friends with the other conure. Both of them are GCC.

Are they in the same room? Different cages? Have you quarantined the new bird? Can you give us some more info on their living situation?
