Age when the B&G usually start and stop talking ?

Is there a age specific when they start and stop learning to talk?
I have a bird that is somewhat of a rescue and not properly trained early
Can he still learn easily to talk @ almost 2 years old?
And should I separate my U2 so he can learn faster?

Thanks

They will learn throughout their entire life. But, they will only repeat what they want :) He/she may deside not to speak at all. It really depends on the individual. I've met birds who will only repeat sounds and say 1-2 words but its non-stop jabber of some sort. Keep the words simple and make sure you associate it with something. I like to over dramatize the new word. They like the energy and tend to want to repeat it. I dont think you need to separate them. It might help them both. Especially if one starts to repeat your word and gets rewarded. Nothing like competition to inspire learning :)

Good luck
Keep it fun and always reward progress
