That is unfortunate, at least take solace in the fact it wasn't your fault. You showed yourself to be a devoted caregiver getting her in to the first vet you cold find, and then again to an AVN.

You literally did everything you could have done. I'd say I feel sorry about your situation, but that would be all about me, I do empathize with you and so does every other member on here; and hope you continue making good decisions.

So so sorry for your loss. I feel your pain really from the loss of my Smokey over two years ago after twenty-eight wonderful years with her. There isn't a day that goes by that I don't think of her.
You acted swiftly in seeking out help for her..please don't beat yourself up.
