Hi everybody.
So, major storm in my area right now. Lots of thunder and lightning. I don't recall Iggy having an issue last year, but she seems to be afraid of the storm now. How can I help her?
Right now I've covered the side of her cage that's getting the most lightning flashes, and left the bathroom light on and shut the door enough so that it's not bright but she can see if she needs to. She seems ok right now. This is generally what I do when she has a night fright, so it should probably work, right?
If it doesn't work I'm considering having her sleep in my room in her travel carrier. (The carrier is cat size and plenty big enough for her to turn and move.) I don't know if that would be too claustrophobic for her though, and unfamiliar. She doesn't mind the carrier normally so I'm not sure.
Excuse the messy post I'm trying to go to sleep whilst dealing with her. Thanks
