Hey guys! I've noticed something over the last few weeks with Tilly that I've never had any issues with in the past with other birds. When it's time for bed and lights out? He screams in his cage for about ten minutes until finally calming down and going to sleep. He's a pretty vocal bird all together, but doesn't usually scream loudly unless it's bedtime. Is this normal? Is he just being a stubborn baby and wanting to stay awake to play? Or.. maybe he's afraid of the dark? (I did have him under a heatlamp for quite a few weeks after bringing him home because he wasn't fully feathered. So he had light all the time. Maybe that's it?) I'm so confused! Any tips?

Also, while I'm thinking about it... is it normal for a twelve week old baby B&G to be... aggressive? Or, well... I should say nippy. He LOVES me... but doesn't usually tolerate anyone else around him. Especially my husband. If he passes by Tilly, he'll lunge at him. Now, my hubby has been around me and my birds for a long while and understands not to engage the behavior, and even stands completely still and stoic when Tilly bites down on his finger... hard, might I add. He shows no fear at all... and yet Tilly still ties to scare him off. Is it just his personality? I know some people just don't like other people.. Lol. But he's generally a bit more tolerant with visitors to the home, and our roommate (who IS terrified of him). She keeps her distance usually. I'm really confused, and a bit disappointed. I mean, I love him to pieces, but he's definitely turning out to be a spitfire and that seems to be against most B&G's nature. Not that I mind... I'll just have to break the news to the husband that he doesn't like him! (I've had to live with his African Grey hating me for years. Lol. Karma!)

I'm interested to hear what people say! I'm going to guess telling him no night be important. Maybe he thinks he can push hubby around still?
