Strudel and Buntiibird - I did manage to get him to eat just a little bit last night - I put some apple, Cheerios, his own seed/fruit/nut mix, and some of the budgie's seed in a cup with hot water and tried to feed it to him on a spoon. He ate a little bit - not much - but I figured it was a start. This morning, I tried again with the same mix, and he's not touching it. I'm starting to feel his keel bone.
I called the pet store I got him from to ask them what to do - I'm waiting for a call back from their bird manager. I'm wondering if I'm going to have to bring him back for another week or two until he's a better eater. He doesn't look sick, but I know how fast the other one went down and I don't want to lose this one, too ... I'm starting to wonder if the other one starved himself.
Is this typical, this "I've been moved to a new place so I'm not eating?" I feel like a failure because I can't get him to eat...
