11 yr old Tag June 8 yr old Mustache parakeet
First I adopted My moms Mustached parakeet because my grandmother and uncle moved in with her she now has 3 adults and 7 chihuahuas living in her 2 bed room and she couldnt handle Joe yelling anymore im having trouble taming him to but me and my daughter aren't going to give up on him but a few weeks later her Tag June started plucking her feathers i assume its because She didn't have Joe to talk to and my mom didn't get her out much anymore because my uncle turned her living room into his bedroom so i took June also i have wanted an African grey for 20+ yrs she is a sweet bird to me since I'm disabled and always home the only time she spends in her cage is a few hours a day to eat and bedtime she doesn't pluck anymore I'm going to spoil her LOL I want my wife and 2 kids to be able to at least be able to pick her up in case something was to happen while im not around. I have some experience with birds I had a cockatiel a lovebird and a Quaker any advice is welcomed on either bird TY

congratulations on your new birds, the only thing I would say is tell the rest of your family to move slowly with CAG like talking to her first then gettin closer maybe giving a treat until she excepts them, they don't like people forced on them lol best of luck

Congrats on a new friend!
