She grabbed my finger with both her feet today!

So is her injured/limp foot working better then? Glad she's making some progress. She knows you mean her know harm and is starting to trust you. Congrats!

I could pick her up before, but shed grab my finger with just one foot, while the other was clenched and couldnt grab anything, so yes, progress indeed :)

I don't know if this would help, but put a normal perch in her cage alongside the flat ones, offer some foot toys too. if it's a mild nerve injury and she seems to be getting a little bit better, this might work as some birdy rehab. I find my budgies wont seek my attention as such but will be happy to burrow into my neck under my hair and fall asleep. she might not want pats or scratches but after you've nurse her as you have she's going to warm up to you if you give her enough time and attention.

She has a normal perch other than the flat ones =) Theyre cut off branches, so theyre a little uneven so she can change between where she sits to get some variation.

So tolerates me handling her now, she doesnt enjoy it, so i try to keep it to just move here from place to place when she goes somewhere i dont want her to.

Thank you so much for helping this bird out. I am not an experienced bird owner but wish I could help. I hope she gets better. I know animals that have a reason to love will push through a lot to be with one they love and I am sure with a caring owner like you and a good home she will do just fine. I sure she will be a great addition. :)
