So, this question randomly popped into my head the other day and I was wondering what everyone’s thoughts on it are:
If the offspring of birds are called “chicks” and birds are (modern day) dinosaurs, then would it be accurate to call the offspring of the group of dinosaurs birds evolved from chicks also? For example, velociraptor chicks or trex chicks?
Let us debate!
