In a small shop in England Vonny and Cal sat,
"It's quiet today girl - what are you at?"
"Shall we go on the internet, see what's what?"
"Maybe we'll find another Parrot mad lot?"
"The Parrot Owners Community? Sounds like fun!"
We pushed the 'join now' button - it had begun.
So many lovely people and their adorable "fids", information....laughs and tips...."Crikey Cal, look what we've missed!"
There was Spiritbird with Rosie, the proud looking TAG. Her little girls voice, how it made us laugh!
Next came Ant, the scatter bird brain <3, owned by Mishka who has Ant well trained! Chattering in the most human like way - "look at this clever birdy Cal! Maybe you'll talk one day!"
Cowtown with Abby, her feathers so bright, her big new cage on order, causing excite!
Eddie the cheeky ekkie, his Dad is Aussie Ben. "Ooooh look Cal a MALE eclectus too - how about that then?!"
Linky and Sterretjie, her story so sad, her intelligent face explains "Hey, with my new mum, it's far from bad!"
Bogo with her brood, so funny and kind, "Look Cal, THAT'S how to stop biting my hand...."
Bobby, he has many fids, from grey right through to blue, no matter your dilemma, he knows what you could do.
Sharon C and Freddie the gorgeous amazon "ahhhhburbburburbur aaaaahhhhm" had us in stitches - quick Cal, I need the loo!
So many other members, all a special bunch, trouble is we can't write it all down - it's nearly time for lunch!
Soon there were new flocks joining the family too...."look at that Cal - another few like you!"
Mishka and Calypso also conures! Phoenix, Iago and little boy Beau.
Lisa with her zoo - who belongs to who now??? We never can deduce!!
Now as a poet I'm not very good, I can't entrance, amaze - or even set the mood!
I hope you know the meaning, behind this imperfect rhyme, we just wanted to say thanks so much, ALL of you for taking the time.
