I moved from a big noisy city in Massachusetts to a quiet peaceful seaside city September 2008. Since then I've noticed that everytime I am outside or my 12 yr old daughter is outside, someone kept whistling at us. Cat calls; you know: Whoo hoo! etc. etc. This goes on day and night. We were never quite sure where the sound was coming from. My downstairs neighbor also has a daughter and we were getting nervous that we may have a disturbed neighbor and maybe it wasn't safe to let the girls outside alone. It's really been getting on my nerves, lately. I figure if it was a bird (a parrot or mockingbird) they would surely cover the cage at dusk, but the whistles continue til midnight sometimes. Finally, today I approached my neighbor and asked him who is the one that is always whistling. He said, "Oh, that's my bird; an African Grey, sorry." I was just so relieved I didn't have a pervert living next door. Ha ha ![Grey :grey: :grey:](/img/parrotsmilie/grey.gif)
