RavensGryf - I'm half wondering if you are thinking about the par-blue mutations seen in some species, which aren't a true blue? Such as in Green cheeks, although par-blue mutations also exist in budgies, cockatiels (ya, I know, they aren't blue! visually!), indian ringncks, quakers and lovebirds.

hacatta - I think the closest pink green cheek conure you'll be getting would be a "high red" opaline turquoise green cheek, or an opaline cinnamon turquoise. Some birds do have pinkish stomachs where it should be red.

Otherwise, you are stuck with bourke mutations, galahs and their mutations, as well as the lutino dusky pionus. (image 1 and image 2)... although major mitchells and moluccans are also pink!

I first heard the term parblue when I had finches, long ago before parrots. I did think par-blue was "part" blue. I can tell you've studied your mutations before! Nothing wrong with that though, it's pretty interesting stuff.

I think of it as "partially blue", and the amount of colors in par-blue birds can vary.

Not an expert, but I do find mutations to be fascinating! :)

I love mutations, but I just can't get my head around most of them - I'd be a terrible parrot breeder XD
