Well bobby is getting on great we have just finished his second day of stick training he is starting to get closer to me and his growls have calmed down so much he only does it if i take to long to give him his treat but other than that we have made some fine progress today who knows maybe in a few weeks ill be able to handle him :)

Ya, Bobby sounds like he is doing good. I know Sassy didn't need as much training due to being handfed. The only problems I had with her, is she would bite me every once in a while, because she did not recognize me as her owner. She was use to a female owner and not a male. These birds know alot. lol But now after 6 years, well she knows I am her primary care giver, recognizes me over anyone else, will bite others she don't recognize, lets me pet her wings, lets me ruffle her neck and pet it, play with her without biting hard, ect.. But amazons in general are one or two person birds. They react differently to a stranger.. I used a stick 4 or 5 times, since having Sassy. Sassy gets plenty of attention and has alot of toys.

Yay! I've been keeping up with Bobby! Bella and Zora are on their third day! If I scoop Bella up, she'll let me scratch her. Zora... Eh. :) We're working on. They only 'step up' if they get spooked and fly to the floor. Wierd! Target training, in my opinion, is really effective! Good luck with Bobby!
