Hello!
I am a brand new member here: thank you for the warm welcome!
We just brought Lyze home on Thursday and he is adjusting well. He (we think he's a he anyways) likes to chat and has already stepped up on my finger a few times.
I'm wondering if I should consider a second tiel? If only for the simple fact that I wouldn't mind having two and I know how social birds, especially tiels can be. I'm wary because I do want a hand tame bird and I have heard so many times before that two birds will bond with each other and not their humans.
My husband and I work opposite schedules, so there is usually someone always home to give him company and if he gets lonely, Lokibird the Parrotlet is right across the living room to chat with, so that isn't the issue. I just want to do what is best for my new baby so I wanted to get opinions from fellow bird lovers. Thanks!
